Mary Scorzello of Reading, formerly of Waltham, MA died Tuesday morning, October 13, 2009, at the Winchester Hospital after a brief illness. She was 87.
The daughter of the late Joseph and Fannie (Riccio) Consolo, she was born, raised and educated in East Boston. A resident of Reading for the past 2 years, she had resided in Waltham for 40 years prior to moving there from Watertown.
Mrs. Scorzello had been employed for over 20 years as a sales associate with the Osco Drug in Waltham.
She was a consummate homemaker, she enjoyed home and family, interior decorating and cooking.
Mrs. Scorzello was predeceased by her husband, Michael Scorzello and her brothers, Phil and Angelo Consolo.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary M. and her husband, Peter Leonard of Framingham and Faith and her husband, John Downing of Reading, her sister, Phyllis Falbo of Waltham, her grandchildren, Lisa and her husband, Phil Lander, Michael and his wife, Heidi Leonard and Tiffany and Kristie Downing.
