Where Are They Now?

Where Are They Now: Arlyn White
After retiring in 1999, Patti and I decided to stay in Utah, as we thoroughly enjoyed all the activities Utah has to offer. We have enjoyed hiking in the nearby forests and mountains, biking, traveling to the beautiful national parks, many days spent fishing, and golfing on many beautiful courses. For the last twenty plus years, we have spent two months during the winter in Arizona, where we have been able to continue doing the activities we enjoy with the added benefit of

Hi everyone. I still living in Lenexa, Kansas, although we are empty nesters. We are enjoying life after 34 years between Turn-Style and Osco Drug. I have become very involved in the American Legion as I serve as the 1st Vice Commander. We are the largest legion in the State of Kansas with 1000 members. In 2024 we took the best trip of our lives; a 10 day guided tour of Egypt with a three day cruise on the Nile river. Regarding Osco memories; it has been living and working in

Sadly, I lost my wife Carol after 62 years of marriage. I recently re-married Barbara Field making me a “newlywed”, a different experience for me now. I live with Barbara in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Medford, Oregon. People my age often have health challenges, and I’m no exception. We hope to plan some limited travel in the months and years ahead when we’re able to do so. I have fond recollections of Osco Drug with people working in collaborative fa

I have been retired since July of 2020. Cindi retired in 2022. Being empty nesters with no grandkids we have taken several trips overseas and one trip to Alaska over the past three years.. many of these trips have been pilgrimages. While we have enjoyed every one of our trips, our pilgrimage to the Holy Land and our trip to Switzerland rise to the top of the list. We already have three more trips on the books for 2026! We still live in Algonquin Illinois. When not trav

We are doing fine, my wife Becky and I are happy, healthy, and loving life. We have two adult children; a daughter Alison and her husband Sam. Our son Connor is engaged to be married this coming September. We are lucky to have them living here in Boise with us! So wonderful! Both are within a 20-minute drive from our house. I’m still working, but on a very reduced schedule. I doubt I’ll ever completely retire, as long as I have value to add. I’m still traveling the country d

Well, I'm still working full time as I own my own business in construction. I enjoy working around the house and during the warmer months spend time going to car shows and cruise nights with my 2 classic cars. I've been married for 45 years to a wonderful woman and just welcomed my first grandchild this year.

My best vacation was seeing the Grand Canyon. Some of my fondest memories of my time spent at Osco was working in Buffalo Grove Illinois store #79 with Ray Brynjelson, these were the best years of my time at Osco.
