Nancy L. Pearson Lensing, 76, of Orland Park, formerly of Peotone, died Wednesday, August 14, 2013, at her home.
She was born in Auburn, Iowa, the daughter of Asa and Nancy Pearson. She was a cosmetician for Osco-Drug for 31 years. After retirement, she could often be found baking goodies for family functions or at the events for her grandchildren.
Mrs. Lensing is survived by two daughters, Carla (Kevin) Bock of Orland Park and Jodi (Bill) Carey of Beecher, a son, Tom (Sherri) Lensing of Manhattan; five grandchildren, Amanda (Todd) Szymanski of Indianapolis, Jessica Brtva of Palatine, Billy Carey of Beecher, and Jeremy and Troy Lensing of Manhattan; and a great-grandchild, Katelyn Szymanski of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vince Lensing.
