William H. “Bill” Palmby Age 82, Brownsburg, passed away March 3, 2013. He was born on April 15, 1930 to William and Vera (Jensen) Palmby in Winona, MN.
He served in the United States Air Force as a Russian Interpreter stationed in Korea from 1950-1954. He married Rose M. Kramer in 1954. He retired from Osco Drug after 30 years of service. He then fulfilled a lifelong dream of owning and operating Palmby Hardware in Brazil, IN. His wife, Rosie, lovingly supported him during his 35 year battle with Parkinson’s disease. He is survived by his wife of 59 yrs. Rose Palmby; daughters Jean (David) Brinson and Anne (David) Skinner; sons Mike (Lisa Hedge) Palmby and Jeff (Jill) Palmby; sisters Elaine Rysted and Mary Clemens; brother Larry Palmby; and 9 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father William Palmby; mother Vera Palmby; stepmother Gen Palmby; brothers Robert, Thomas, and Ronald Palmby. Visitation will be from Noon to 1 pm on Wed.
