Wendy Lee (Luedders) Villers, 44, passed away at KU Medical Center Thursday, July 10, 2014.
She married Marty Villers on April 30, 1994. They were blessed with three handsome boys. She was a woman who loved her children passionately and often called them "My Three Sons." They will always remember her as being beautiful, intelligent and extremely generous. Her passing will leave a hole in their hearts for the rest of their lives.
Wendy was baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran faith at Grace Lutheran Church in Atwood. She later attended Redeemer Lutheran Church in Ark City where she volunteered as a Sunday school teacher when her children were young.
Wendy was extremely proud that her son Wyatt followed his father's footsteps and won first place at the 5A State Wrestling Tournament. It was the first time in Ark City history a son won the same title as his father. She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Martin and Hulda Luedders and Raymond and Merle Gaskill, all of Atwood.
Wendy is survived by her parents, Wanda and Larry Luedders, Atwood; husband, Marty Villers, Arkansas City; children, Wyatt, 19, Carter, 16 and Brody,15, of the home; sister, Sherry Lynn Skolout and husband, John, Atwood; nieces and nephews, Gaberial, Isabella, Sawyer and Cecelia Skolout, Atwood; Marty's parents, Ann and Jr. Villers, Ark City; his sister, Valerie Winz and husband, Rex, Arkansas City; niece, Alyssa Gove and husband, Elton, Winfield; and nephew, Joshua Hunt, Arkansas City.
