Theresa Tedeschi, of Holbrook,MA formerly of Milton, died peacefully at home on Oct. 28, with her family by her side. She was 74.
Theresa was the beloved wife of the late Joseph P. Tedeschi; and the loving and cherished mother of Joseph and Christine Tedeschi both of Holbrook. Theresa was born and raised in the Boston North End where she graduated from St. Julie Billiart High School. She later moved to Milton where she lived for many years but remained connected to her old neighborhood through annual feasts and reunions. Theresa worked at Osco Drug in Lower Mills for many, many years and made many friends along the way. Following her retirement from Osco, she began a new phase in her life that took her on many vacations to places like Italy, England and the West Coast. She also volunteered at Milton Health Care, enjoyed bingo and joined the Holbrook Senior Center. Theresa was the beloved sister-in-law of the late Elena Russo of Everett and Jean McEachern of Dedham. She leaves behind her brother-in-law, William McEachern of Dedham; and her many nieces and nephews. She was especially close to her niece, Stephanie DiPlatzi of Everett. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 p.m. in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home, at 809 Main Street (Rte. 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), South Weymouth. Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8 a.m. Tuesday prior to the funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Hills Church, Milton, at 9 a.m. Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
