Irene M. (Carley) Quinn, age 70, of Weymouth, formerly of Quincy and Dorchester, MA died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at home.
Irene was born in Dorchester, raised and educated in Dorchester schools and was a graduate of Dorchester High School. She had lived in Weymouth for twenty-seven years and previously in Quincy for twenty years. She was employed as a sales associate for Brooks Pharmacy; the former Osco Drug, in North Quincy, for twenty-five years and had been retired for six years.
Beloved wife of the late John M. Quinn. Devoted mother of Lisa M. Murphy of Scituate and the late Joseph J. Mauriello. Loving grandmother of Tyler J. Murphy and Stephanie J. Murphy both of Scituate. Sister of James Carley of Hopedale.
Irene is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many cousins.
Funeral Services will be conducted at the Sweeney Brothers Home for Funerals, 1 Independence Avenue, Quincy on Wednesday, February 18th at 10 o’clock. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
Visitation prior to the service from 9 – 10 a.m. Interment Pine Hill Cemetery, West Quincy.
