She was a long time member of Trinity Methodist Church in Carpentersville, Illinois. In later years her grandchildren and great-grandchildren gave her much joy. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Though our hearts are heavy with sadness by her passing, there is also the feeling of comfort and peace. Graveside services and celebration of life will be held in Mildmay, Ontario, Canada. Local arrangements made by Laird Funeral Home, Elgin, Illinois. With much gratitude Leona's family would like to thank the staff of Tower Hill Health Care Center and JourneyCare Hospice for their compassionate care, comfort and numerous acts of kindness bestowed upon our mother while she was in your care.
