Theresa Lynn Funk Terry, 60, of Lafayette, died at 4:39 PM Thursday March 26, 2015 at Indiana University Health.
She was born November 6, 1954 in Lafayette. She graduated from Southwestern High School. Theresa married Douglas B. Terry on July 8, 1972 in Lafayette and he passed away on June 30, 2013. She was employed by Osco Drugs/CVS as a manager for 20 years retiring in early due to health reasons. Theresa loved to be with her family and friends and mostly her granddaughters. She also loved their family movie nights and holidays together. She enjoyed cooking, baking, reading, gardening and scrabble. Survivors include daughters, Greta Owen, Megan Terry, Camey Madras, and son Douglas Terry (life partner Fred Borho), her mother, Linda L. Bray, granddaughters, Lindsay Terry, Haley Owen, brother, Jerry Funk. She was preceded in death by her brother, Steven Funk, grandson, Braxton Madras, grandmother, Betty Bushong. Visitation will be Monday March 30, 2015 from 10-11am Soller-Baker Lafayette Chapel with funeral service to follow at 11am. Officiating will be Pastor James Chase, burial Spring Vale Cemetery.
