She was born on Dec. 7, 1944, to Henry and Effie Scheele in Steel City, NE. After graduating from Diller High School, she married John on Feb. 23, 1964. She held several different jobs and retired from Osco Drug after 20 years of service. Diane was a loving mother and grandmother. In addition to being a homemaker, she enjoyed playing cards and was an avid reader.
She is survived by husband, John, sons Tracey, Robbie and Corbin, granddaughters Jody and Becky, brother David Scheele (Joyce) and numerous nephews and nieces. She is preceded in death by parents, son Troy, one brother and two sisters.
Services will be Tuesday, May 24, 2016 at 3:00 pm with a visitation Monday from 6-8 pm at Lincoln Memorial Funeral Home. Interment will follow services at Lincoln Memorial Park. Memorials to American Heart Association or Capital City Christian Church.
