John T. Jack Finnegan of Marstons Mills, formerly of Lawrence and Dedham, reached journeys end on January 28, 2017. John was the son of Anne (Drury) Finnegan and Paul F. Finnegan, both of Belmont. Born in Fall River, he was raised by his widowed mother in Dedham, MA, where he graduated from Dedham High School in 1969. After graduating from Northeastern University, School of Pharmacy in 1977, John worked as a retail pharmacist at Osco in Lawrence until 1984, then in Hyannis at Osco/Brooks/Rite-Aid until retirement in 2015. John is survived by his sister Mary Lou Schaalman and her husband Don of North Andover, his nephew Andrew of East Boston, and his nephew and wife Greg and Emily Schaalman of Salem, MA. He is also survived by an extended family of Finnegan cousins in greater Boston and Seattle.
