Bill Bolton, former President of Jewel Osco, passed away Wednesday. He was diagnosed with lymphoma in January and underwent chemotherapy. When that proved unsuccessful, he was admitted to Northwestern for a more aggressive treatment. That, too, was unsuccessful and as his health continued to decline we, along with his doctors, made the decision that palliative care was in his best interest. He died peacefully this morning. He will be cremated and at this time there are no plans for a formal service. Thank you for your continued prayers.
