It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marvin Ernest Brown of Kewanee, Illinois, born in Conde, South Dakota, who passed away on February 11, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul F. Brown and Hazel Brown (Klapperich); and his siblings, Joseph, Leone (Melvin Henjum) and Edward (Ruth).
He is survived by : his wife Doris Elizabeth Titus; and his children, Christina Bral (Darwin), Angela Tanzillo (Carl), Catherine Anderson (Jack), Rebecca Soike (Jon), Michael Brown, Laura Brown, Patrick Brown (Amy Shields) and Timothy Brown (Janice).
Marv was an Osco Drug pharmacist who also worked in management in the Kewanee, Illinois store for many years.
A rosary will be held on Friday, February 17th 2023 at 3:30 PM at the Rux Funeral Home (507 S Chestnut St,Kewanee, IL 61443). Visitation will be held on Friday, February 17th 2023 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the same location. A mass of christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 18th 2023 at 10:00 AM at the Saint John Paul II Parish (406 W Central Blvd, Kewanee, IL 61443). A burial will be held on Monday, February 20th 2023 at the Rock Island Arsenal National Cemetery.
