It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Allread on January 27th after a long fight against cancer.
Helen was an integral part of the Sav-on Drug Cosmetic business, becoming one of the first Cosmetics Supervisors in the early 70's working for Rita Bucola, who became the head of cosmetics after Mrs. Clark left the company. When Rita retired, Helen became the head of the Cosmetics department working for Dee Gardener.
Helen was one of the real pioneers of our business and she will be missed. She was one of the remarkable people who set the standards so high for Sav-on that they became known as "The place to buy your cosmetics".
