It was a partly cloudy day with temperatures at 65+ degrees on the patio of the general store in Scottsdale where 11 unique individuals gathered for brunch and recollecting conversations. We had the likes of Stan Petersen, who was later joined by his wife Deone probably to make sure he was behaving himself. Frank Stock, Bill Harbecke and Jerry Osterman were in attendance and yes, Jerry is still manufacturing and selling his candy. Dave Schoenbeck indicated that Ellen is still putting up with him and he is finally becoming player reader after a knee replacement surgery that sort of was all consuming. He is ready as it has been 10 months off the courses. Curt Larson is back in the Valley of the Sun as of two weeks ago and looking forward to some warmth. He looked very good and he is keeping focused on physical therapy's of late. After many months, Pat Johnston has returned, looking absolutely the same. His family members are doing well and he and Sandy have been taking opportunities to share time with both sides of their families and aging grand children. Guest of honor had to be John Nieman, the famous traveler of the continental US and World. He no longer has a home in Phoenix, but is renting when his urge for warmth overcomes him. Indianapolis is the location of his personal abode near his famous family members and friends that are popular subjects in his facebook posts. The man enjoys every minute of everyday and looks fabulous for his 62 years on this planet. It was a very enjoyable visit for sure. Many were in attendance through mention: Vic Lund, Dave Maher, Did George, Tork, Dick and Sandy Davis, Monty Conrad, Brent Keil, Kevin and Linda Tripp, Tom McGovern, and many family members. Everyone have a great day.
