Nearly made it to 42 years with one company but now it is time to retire. I was lucky enough to grow up in an era where American Stores had some of the greatest leaders I've ever seen. They've shaped and molded me and their mentorship helped me to succeed. We used to joke that as long as you are bought one more time than you are sold, you are in good shape. My journey took me from Jewel/Osco to American Stores to Albertsons to SUPERVALU and back to Albertsons. From Chicago to Salt Lake City to Phoenix to Chicago to Boise. I've been blessed to have been supported by outstanding teams that were the best in the business. I'll miss this crazy industry and the awesome people in it but now I'm looking forward to checking off a long bucket list.
