Director at Large: JP Larson

After graduating from Illinois State University in 1985, I started my career as a management trainee at store 413 in Normal Illinois. My assistant manager roles took me to Springfield Il, Indianapolis In, and Kalamazoo Mi. I became a Store Manager at store 417 in Charleston IL in 1991 and then transferred to store 870 in East Moline IL. as a Store Manager in 1993.

The next step in my career was being assigned as the Special Markets Manager in 1996 for the Central Region based out of the 3030 Office in Franklin Park. My experience in that role led me to the Operations Manager role for the Central Region working directly for Bill Bates and the District Managers and then became a District Manager in 2001 in the Kansas City Market.

In 2006 when CVS acquired Osco, I continued my role as a District Manager and continued in that position until my retirement in April of 2022 after 37 years in retail.

Tina and I still live in Overland Park Ks, and we are fortunate that each of our 3 children and our 2 grandchildren live in the Kansas City area. We love to travel and I currently work 3 days a week during the school year for All Point Transportation who contracts with the local school district in providing transportation for kids with special needs to and from their homes. Very rewarding and keeps me active in the community.
