E-Grocer GOOD EGGS Sees $1B West Coast Opportunity

  • Online grocer Good Eggs began delivering orders in Los Angles, marking its first major expansion in several years.

  • The company, which carries around 100,000 SKUs, 70% of which are locally sourced, will provide same day delivery from its 60,000 sq. ft. warehouse in Vernon, California.

  • Good Eggs generated more than $100 million last year in the Bay Area, and plans to expand to additional West Coast markets to reach its $1 Billion revenue goal.

  • Good Eggs' focus on LOCAL SOURCING is its main differentiator, using strict guidelines to source products within 250 miles of its warehouse.

  • Vineet Mehra, the former chief marketing officer at Walgreens Boots Alliance, joined Good Eggs last year, said the L.A. Expansion took around a year to build and further growth will occur thru measured expansion growth plans in other Markets.
