Kroger downsizes corporate staff

Kroger is eliminating nearly 1,000 corporate roles, many in its Technology & Digital division. Interim CEO Ron Sargent said the move will streamline operations, redirect savings to lower prices, increase store hours, and enhance real estate investments.
