Randy Mound

Randy Mound… After leaving SuperValu in 2010, Fanny and I moved to Woodbury, MN, where I took a position with Target Corporation in the Merchandising, Process, & System Development group working on their RedRx proprietary pharmacy software package. We lived there for 5 years, but never really got used to the winters. In 2016, I accepted a position with Wolters Kluwer and was relocated to Indianapolis. We enjoyed Indy for 5 years however, it was very far from family. So last year, I accepted another position at IQVIA which allowed him to live anywhere in the US. We immediately sold our home and moved to Omaha where we now live. We are very close to our grandchildren and see them often. Fanny is semi-retired and I’m eyeing an early 2022 retirement date. We both love to Cruise and travel. We are anxiously awaiting the time when it is safe enough to travel again. And of course, I remain a staunch Iowa Hawkeye supporter. Looking back on our Osco/Savon days brings us great joy. Fanny and I met at #2216 in Omaha. Life in a store was so much different then. We had a blast going with the team on hayrack rides, barbeques, and holiday parties. Throughout our careers at American Stores, Albertsons, and finally Supervalu we were fortunate to meet and work with best people. There are way too many to mention, and we are very lucky to still have strong relationships with a few. Life has a funny way of working out, after a very fun career we are back where it all started…in Omaha.
