Where Are They Now: Bill Jacobs

Sadly, I lost my wife Carol after 62 years of marriage. I recently re-married Barbara Field making me a “newlywed”, a different experience for me now.

I live with Barbara in a Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) in Medford, Oregon. People my age often have health challenges, and I’m no exception. We hope to plan some limited travel in the months and years ahead when we’re able to do so.

I have fond recollections of Osco Drug with people working in collaborative fashion to achieve objectives. Osco people worked with the “spirit of wanting to” thereby making the workplace actually “fun”. This focus on PEOPLE was extraordinarily unique compared with other employers at the time.

I extend my best wishes to all retirees in the Alumni Club.
