Where Are They Now: Don Hoscheit

Don Hoscheit…Gerry and I are doing ok while dealing with some major health issues. Gerry has had a series of strokes over the past ten years. She's doing ok and I'm a full time caregiver now.

We live in a retirement community near where we have lived for the past 50 years and near where three of our sons and much of the family (especially our two great grand children) currently live. Our daughter lives Houston and our son Bill in the DFW area. Our activities are fairly limited but we still enjoy reading, dining out (COVID permitting), and spending time with family and friends. I also get to play golf twice weekly, weather permitting. Still a lousy golfer but enjoy getting out and we have a great foursome so that's ideal all things considered.

Our best vacation(s) were in Europe--river cruises, driving vacations through Bavaria, Switzerland, and Austria and most specially when Gerry was able to accompany me frequently on the three consulting contracts I had there over a 20 year period.

The years at OSCO were very special and most rewarding. Great "First Assistants" and friends in the officer group who guided me in the early years. Special "Thanks" to Dave Maher and Dick Cline who gave me a chance to fail. Support from Ops VP's and DM's was vital and greatly appreciated.

The pharmacy department had a spectacular staff (Jerry, Larry, Gerry, Tom and MO plus too many others to list here). The RPM's and pharmacy staffs were the ones who delivered on a daily basis. Whatever was accomplished was through their efforts and to to their credit much more than mine. My endless gratitude!

We truly have been blessed both in our OSCO years and the ensuing 20 plus work years since that could not have turned out so well without the OSCO experience. Thanks to All!
