Where Are They Now: Lyle Grafelman

My wife, Connie and I are doing great!  We live in Savage, MN where we moved to in 2007 when Supervalu purchased Albertson’s.  We have two adult daughters who live in the twin cities.  Lauren and Joe have two daughters, Grace and Ruby.  Michelle and Micheal have one daughter, Sophie.  Connie worked in middle school libraries until she retired in 2020 so she could babysit Grace.  Eventually, she added Ruby and Sophie.  In 2024, I started working for Connie as the Assistant Granddaughter Babysitter.  It’s the best job that I’ve ever had!!! 

We enjoy spending time with our families.  We frequently take our granddaughters to parks, the zoo, swimming, and having sleep overs.  We like getting together with work friends that are in the area.

A couple of our best vacations were to Hawaii.  We also enjoy visiting national parks.

My career spanned nearly 42 years with the company.  Connie and I grew up in Lincoln, she worked at Osco Drug before I did.  Our journey includes 11 moves and 9 states.  I’m thankful for all the awesome people and friendships I’ve had along the way.
