Where Are They Now: Sanford (Sam) Hirsch

Since the rest of the Advertising department in Anaheim was laid-off in Jan. 1994,  I have held two jobs. One was an Asst. Manager for a Sherwin Williams Paint Store. It was a short time job, as I looked for something more in line with my experience. 

I applied and was hired by TRW (now Northrop Grumman) in 1995. I started out in their publications dept. doing art work for government proposals. I transitioned to the Security dept. in 2003 and finished my career as supervisor of the Badge & ID area. I programmed information onto smart chip proximity badges, which gave employees access to sensitive government areas. I retired in 2014. In 2010 I bought a home in Moreno Valley. I still keep in touch with about 10 former Sav-on employees. We try to have a mini-reunion every year. 

I'm enjoying my retirement and have gotten involved in many activities in my area.
